The Last Man on Earth (2015)

An apparently ideal chance to live without rules turns out to be a poor preparation for having to share a world again. Will Forte's survivor comedy makes each new arrangement vulnerable to vanity, dishonesty and the search for an easier life. It is a useful comic route from Fallout's contrast between individual freedom and collective survival. The ensemble becomes its reward, though cancellation after four seasons leaves the final setup unresolved.
