Dead Set (2008)

A zombie outbreak reaches a television production whose contestants have been cut off from the outside world. Charlie Brooker's 2008 British miniseries makes the entertainment machine part of the horror, rather than a safe place from which to comment on it. The short run is a fierce choice for Fallout's nastier humour about enclosed societies and manufactured reality. It is considerably bleaker, with graphic violence that rarely offers an easy release.
