Twisted Metal (2023)

A delivery driver's trip across a fractured America becomes a string of dangerous encounters with people who have made their own rules. Anthony Mackie and Stephanie Beatriz carry a profane action comedy whose fights are deliberately excessive. It is the most direct choice for Fallout's collision of road-trip banter and post-apocalyptic violence, including in its 2025 second season. The social satire is less elaborate; momentum and outrageous characters do more of the work.
