ER (1994)

The early seasons put you into County General's moving current of arrivals, handovers and unfinished conversations. Noah Wyle's Carter has to learn where to stand and when to ask as much as what to do. It is the obvious ancestral companion to The Pitt for good reason: the department feels larger than any one person. Start with the 1994 opening; the fifteen-season run later becomes much more spectacular.
