Critical (2015)

A trauma team works through one patient's most dangerous hour in each episode, making a delayed decision or missing piece of information immediately consequential. Lennie James leads Jed Mercurio's 2015 drama with an authority that still has to function through other people. It is the most direct route from The Pitt's compressed-time pressure. Sky cancelled the thirteen-episode series after one run; the attraction is the demanding case work rather than a long ensemble future.
