The Core (2003)
Movie
Released
A crew drilling towards the centre of the Earth gives capable actors a succession of gloriously impossible problems to solve. Stanley Tucci and Delroy Lindo help make expertise and professional rivalry entertaining. The science is fantasy and the disasters are broad; the useful recommendation is a warmly played team adventure for viewers who enjoy elaborate problem-solving nonsense.
