Red Circle (2025)
Movie
Released
Folu Storms's journalist has the resources of a privileged Lagos family but wants to establish a purpose of her own. A friend's murder draws her towards a crime ring whose reach makes professional curiosity personally dangerous. Akay Mason's 2025 film offers a contemporary investigative entry point, with energetic reversals and compromised institutions. Some decisions and stretches of pacing are uneven; the attraction is the collision between access, independence and a growing threat.
