RRR (2022)

Telugu, directed by S. S. Rajamouli. Two men's friendship gives extravagant action a clear emotional line, with movement and musical performance doing much of the storytelling. Choose the original Telugu version when available; a service offering a Hindi dub has not changed its production origins. This is a three-hour fantasy built around fictional adventures of historical revolutionaries, with violent colonial oppression and emphatic nationalist imagery.
