Minnal Murali (2021)
Movie
Released
Malayalam, directed by Basil Joseph. Superpowers arrive in a small community where reputation, work and wounded pride remain more immediate than saving the universe. Tovino Thomas's aspiring hero has a sharply contrasting counterpart in Guru Somasundaram. An approachable superhero choice because its abilities grow out of recognisable frustrations, while the villain's isolation gives the comedy a darker emotional edge.
