Reservation Dogs (2021)

Four Indigenous teenagers in Oklahoma make plans to leave while the people around them keep changing what home means. The three-season series gives its community jokes, difficult histories and adults with lives beyond supervising the young cast. It is an especially strong route from Derry Girls' ability to let public and private worlds occupy the same scene. Grief matters throughout, with moments of surreal humour sitting naturally beside it.
