Games That Made Me Fall in Love With Gaming Again

Coming back to games after a break can begin with a small pleasure: a satisfying glide, a mischievous idea or a mystery you genuinely work out yourself. These picks are for someone tired of sprawling checklists and daily rewards, looking for curiosity, playful systems and a reason to give an evening their attention. Start with A Short Hike or Donut County for a compact reset, Untitled Goose Game for mischief, or Astro Bot for a bigger production full of invention. The middle choices offer different kinds of involvement, from arranging a room to rewriting a puzzle's rules. The discovery-heavy games near the end ask for more patience and several evenings; their entries flag the friction. This is a selection of possible ways back, not a claim that everyone needs the same cure or that games stopped being creative while you were away.
