Pine: A Story of Loss (2024)

A wood carving gives a happy memory a place in an empty home. You help a widowed woodworker through chores interrupted by recollections of the life he shared with his wife, with small interactions returning to their games and affection. The repetitive tasks are an expression of his difficulty continuing. It is a brief, deliberately simple story about holding on and living onwards, rather than a demanding crafting game.
