Tacking, reefing a sail and deciding when to attempt an exposed passage make Sailwind's changing wind and waves central to the voyage. The reward is understanding why a route that looks short on a chart may be a poor choice today. This is a slow, hands-on sailing simulator with survival supplies to manage, and it remains in Early Access. Ocean crossings can take hours of real time, so begin with local cargo trips.
