A submarine can hold up to sixteen online players, with bots available to fill roles. Leaks, medical problems and hostile creatures make crew members depend on jobs they may only partly understand, turning a competent briefing into farce. Start with a manageable submarine and co-operative missions while learning the systems. A frantic repair can rescue one bad decision, but a whole expedition can still go wrong; this deeper simulation rewards a group willing to communicate and practise.
