A customs-house theft pairs an experienced safecracker with an ambitious insider, making access and temperament equally important parts of the job. Robert De Niro's caution and Edward Norton's impatience create a clear working conflict. The methodical preparation is the appeal, particularly if you like knowing why a specialist would rather abandon a promising opportunity.
