Factory Town (2019)

Supply a growing village with goods made through increasingly elaborate production chains. Conveyors, chutes, railways and other transport tools turn a messy collection of workshops into a system worth watching. There are no enemies or starvation to manage, so you can spend your attention untangling the next bottleneck. It still becomes technically intricate, but experimentation serves the town's happiness instead of defending the factory from attack.
