Your investigators contribute skills to a shared deck, so recruiting and developing a party changes which combinations can appear in the same hand. Healing, protection and damage have to work together, with turn timing adding another decision beyond the printed numbers. Investigator and story progression mean the full range is not available immediately. Choose this for a substantial party RPG and repeated experimentation, rather than expecting a tiny self-contained card run.
