The Station Agent (2003)
Movie
Released
Fin wants solitude, Joe keeps talking, and Olivia is carrying a grief she cannot organise into a reassuring story. Their friendship grows through walking, meals and learning when another person needs company or space. This is the quiet option for anyone tired of films in which belonging requires a spectacular personality change. Peter Dinklage, Bobby Cannavale and Patricia Clarkson make the small negotiations feel worth watching.
