Nimona (2023)

Ballister initially sees a useful sidekick where Nimona needs somebody willing to know her without demanding a more acceptable shape. Their shared flight from danger gradually makes that difference impossible to ignore. The bond earns its place through trust tested by the very prejudices the knight has absorbed. Choose it for exuberant shapeshifting with a wounded outsider at its centre, while expecting rejection and despair as well as mischief.
