Downloadable Games That Make a Small Library Feel Varied

The storage limit here is explicit: original Nintendo Switch releases with a published game-file size of at most 2 GB each, checked on 4 November 2026. The listed figures add up to roughly 14.2 GB for the whole selection, before saves and optional extras. These are Nintendo's rounded store figures, not measurements of every updated installation; leave additional free space for updates and normal system use. The aim is variety worth keeping installed. Farming, high-speed racing, precise platforming, reading, construction, tactics and local party play provide different reasons to pick up the same small collection. A long campaign earns its space differently from a short story or a repeatable score attempt. Each entry gives the platform-specific figure and explains what that game adds. The selected release matters: a sequel, Switch 2 upgrade, subscription edition or similarly named game can have a different footprint. Paid additions are not assumed, and the Switch Ultimate Edition of SteamWorld Heist is identified separately because it already includes earlier extra content. Choose the moods you expect to revisit, rather than treating the lowest number as a quality score.
