Up to four local chefs share a kitchen that turns chopping, washing and passing a plate into a communication problem. Agree on simple jobs before the round starts so a newcomer has a useful contribution immediately. Assist mode offers slower recipe timeouts and longer round timers, but the kitchen can still become frantic. Plan compatible controllers before guests arrive: the native PS5 version requires DualSense controllers, rather than spare PS4 pads.
