Navalny (2022)
Movie
Released
Daniel Roher follows Alexei Navalny and investigative journalists trying to identify the people behind his 2020 poisoning. Research becomes a sequence of practical tests, culminating in an extraordinary recorded telephone exchange. The film's close access to Navalny makes his personality part of its suspense and its perspective. Russian authorities denied involvement in the attack; the documentary presents the investigators' case rather than staging a court determination.
