Tickled (2016)
Movie
Released
A peculiar online competition prompts an interview request, then responses so hostile that the journalists start investigating the people trying to deter them. David Farrier and Dylan Reeve let the audience follow that change from comic curiosity to an account of intimidation and control. Its momentum comes from pursuing the next verifiable connection. The title promises absurdity, but the adults caught in these networks face consequences the film does not treat as a harmless joke.
