Streets of Rage 4 (2020)

For a pair who miss the old shared-screen ritual, online Story mode offers a street, a boss and a proper break between stages. There is no need to maintain a party of four: online co-op supports two, while the larger local count is a separate feature. Keep a consistent host and work through the stage map at your own pace. The combat is demanding enough to reward returning, without a sprawling equipment checklist.
