Cool Runnings (1993)

The Jamaican bobsleigh team's problem is instantly legible: learning to move together in a sport built around an unfamiliar environment. Its comic rhythm makes training and trust enjoyable even if you have never watched a winter event. The film borrows its starting point from the real 1988 team, then invents freely in pursuit of an affectionate underdog story.
