Next Goal Wins (2023)

American Samoa's football team gives the familiar imported-coach story a particularly modest sporting target. The comedy works best when the players' connections and persistence are more interesting than the coach's frustration. This is a heavily shaped dramatisation of a real team, with a broad comic register rather than the observational perspective of the earlier documentary.
