Eddie the Eagle (2016)
Movie

For Eddie, reaching a ski jump's starting gate is already an achievement the surrounding sporting establishment doubts he should attempt. The height makes his stubbornness visible without requiring detailed knowledge of scoring. The real Edwards inspired the story, but the mentor and setbacks are shaped into a comic adventure rather than a reliable Olympic biography.
