Who gets to live somewhere safe, and who gets to decide that they deserve it? This Brazilian series makes those questions into a ruthless selection process, offering a small minority an escape from poverty to the privileged Offshore. Tests of supposed merit expose how easily a system can dress self-preservation as fairness. It is a strong match for the class politics beneath Silo's survival story, with more emphasis on young competitors and resistance movements. Primarily in Portuguese, with four completed seasons.
