High Ground (2021)
Movie

A young Aboriginal man's relationship with a former police sniper develops in the shadow of an earlier massacre. The Australian production gives land, language and conflicting loyalties weight beyond the mechanics of pursuit. The action can be forceful, but the more difficult question is what a promise of protection means when the people offering it helped create the danger.
