Assist Mode separates game speed, climbing stamina, air dashes and invincibility. Try slowing the game slightly while keeping ordinary stamina and hazards: reading the room and choosing a route still matter. Individual assists are adjustable, and Assist Mode can be switched off from file select. Chapters and collectibles remain available; using help is recorded on the save rather than turning the mountain into a separate, lesser campaign.
