The Secret in Their Eyes (2009)
Movie
Released
An Argentine investigator's unfinished case provides a strong crime hook, while Ricardo Darín's restrained performance makes the years around it matter. Spanish-language conversations carry desire and regret as well as evidence. Choose this 2009 original rather than the later English-language remake; some violence and sexual-assault material are severe.
