Polite Society (2023)
Movie
Released
A London teenager treats her sister's unexpected engagement like a conspiracy that calls for martial-arts intervention. Nida Manzoor gives the British action comedy energy through family intimacy and absurdly elaborate suspicion. The genre shifts are part of its appeal, with the sisters' changing relationship supplying a reason for the spectacle.
