Local Hero (1983)
Movie
Released
An American oil-company representative arrives in a Scottish village where the inhabitants are less simple and more businesslike than his expectations. Bill Forsyth lets dry exchanges and time spent looking around carry the comedy. This older exception is an unusually restful option about people revising what they think a place is for.
