The Palace on the Hill (2022)

Niku Games pairs miniature-painting influences with the daily life of Vir, a young artist in fictional rural India. Growing food, helping neighbours and investigating palace ruins feed into a story about ambition and making art. Choose the full game for an unhurried change of pace, where the setting gives ordinary tasks a particular texture rather than simply supplying spectacular scenery.
