Reservoir Dogs (1992)
Movie

Quentin Tarantino's first completed feature uses withheld action and competing accounts to make an aftermath feel larger than the rooms containing it. The ensemble's conversational rhythms are as important as the violence. Pulp Fiction would expand those experiments; the earlier unfinished My Best Friend's Birthday is not being counted as a completed feature debut here.

About Reservoir Dogs
A botched robbery indicates a police informant, and the pressure mounts in the aftermath at a warehouse. Crime begets violence as the survivors -- veteran Mr. White, newcomer Mr. Orange, psychopathic parolee Mr. Blonde, bickering weasel Mr. Pink and Nice Guy Eddie -- unravel.
