Sequels That Improve on the Original's Best Ideas

Hornet's faster movement, diagonal attacks and configurable tools make Silksong's encounters feel built around a distinct performer rather than a taller version of the Knight. Against Hollow Knight with its free content, I prefer this additional room for aerial expression. Tool replenishment and a demanding recovery loop can interrupt that flow, and the original's more measured movement remains a perfectly sensible preference.
