Winter Kills (1979)
Movie
Released
A wealthy family's account of a presidential assassination keeps producing competing versions of access, memory and influence. William Richert makes the confusion grotesquely funny as well as threatening. The story is fictional satire, with obvious historical echoes used to unsettle trust rather than authenticate a solution to a real assassination.
