The China Syndrome (1979)
Movie
Released
A reporter's observations and an engineer's professional concerns have to survive organisational resistance before anyone can act on them. The workplace procedures are crucial to the suspense. The film's release close to the Three Mile Island accident gives it a striking historical context, but its nuclear-plant crisis is a fictional story.
