Sky Force Reloaded (2016)

The paid PC game makes the hangar a continuing project: earn stars for upgrades, assemble different aircraft and collect cards with permanent or temporary benefits. Stage objectives and medals also gate progress, so simply defeating the next boss is not always enough to move on. This is a good fit when revisiting a familiar level with a stronger plane is part of the reward. It is a weaker fit if repetition feels like a toll before new scenery; the campaign intentionally asks for repeated runs.
