Wryn can shoot in one direction while air-dodging in another, with slow motion giving you time to coordinate the two. The controller layout puts movement actions where you can use them without abandoning aim, though it takes a little adjustment. Begin on Easy in Story mode: its checkpoints and unlimited attempts let you rehearse a boss approach. Arcade's one-life run is a separate ambition, not the sensible place to learn how to steer through a crowded attack.
