Frankenstein (2025)
Movie

Guillermo del Toro's adaptation makes creating life inseparable from taking responsibility for a person who needs care. Oscar Isaac's Victor and Jacob Elordi's Creature give the argument two strongly contrasting physical presences. The elaborate design is beautiful, but the compelling question is what a creator owes after the exciting experiment has succeeded. Choose this 2025 film for a lavish, emotionally direct monster tragedy, with surgical violence and destructive family feeling beneath the splendour.
