The Sea Beast (2022)

Red's tremendous size makes it easy for the hunters' stories to speak over her actual behaviour. Maisie's attention offers a different way of looking, letting the creature become more than the next heroic trophy. The appeal is not that every enormous animal must be harmless, but that fear has been doing too much of the judging. A lively animated choice for viewers who enjoy watching a supposedly obvious enemy acquire personality and a claim to its own life.
