Showgunners (2023)

The arenas are designed down to the placement of walls, enemies and environmental hazards, with bespoke objectives and staged surprises. A train crossing the battlefield or a dangerous healing station changes what the squad must do beyond trading shots from cover. Turn-based fights alternate with real-time exploration, and skills and equipment provide manageable preparation between them. Choose the ordinary story campaign for the authored progression; the separate audience-controlled Twitch mode is a different experience. Expect graphic violence and reality-show excess.
