The Lego Movie (2014)

A very ordinary builder finds that following instructions and making something new are not the same talent. The comedy gives adults a surprisingly affectionate argument about play, control and ownership, while the shifting brick worlds keep younger eyes busy. Its pace and action are energetic, but the emotional point is easier to share than a pile of knowing references.
