The Motorcycle Diaries (2004)

The distance travelled matters less than the gradual failure of two young men's assumptions about the people they meet. Walter Salles adapts the South American journey of Ernesto Guevara and Alberto Granado with enough pleasure in companionship to make its changing political awareness felt. Pick it for curiosity that becomes more demanding as the scenery opens out. This is a dramatised early journey, rather than a complete account of Guevara's life or a neutral tour of a continent.

About The Motorcycle Diaries
