G-Darius HD (2021)

A captured enemy becomes a companion whose behaviour can provide extra fire or a useful shield. Keeping it alive protects one plan; spending it as a bomb or Alpha Beam clears the way for another, and a careless wait can let it be destroyed before either payoff. G-Darius HD makes that older capture system convenient to revisit. Start with its original arcade rules and learn which enemies are worth taking, rather than treating every capture as an interchangeable power-up.
