Radiant Silvergun (2011)

The ordinary Radiant Sword absorbs pink bullets to fill the Hyper Sword gauge; it is not a universal shield against every colour or collision. A full gauge unlocks the separate Hyper Sword attack, whose brief invulnerability gives you a much stronger escape tool. That distinction makes choosing a collectible bullet different from choosing a genuinely safe moment to pass through danger. The modern PC release keeps these tools alongside the other weapons, so give the sword a convenient control binding.
