A bus route and a sequence of familiar stops let the New Jersey city accumulate through other people's speech. Adam Driver's poet-driver notices patterns without needing each one to become a dramatic incident. Jim Jarmusch makes repetition productive: the same street can offer a different detail on another day. A gentle choice for urban attention built from work rather than sightseeing.
