The Menu (2022)

An expensive tasting menu comes with an expectation that the guests will admire, obey and avoid making a scene. Ralph Fiennes' chef and Hong Chau's faultlessly composed service turn that etiquette into a system of control. The comedy is broad, but the threat depends on a familiar imbalance: people who have paid for an exclusive experience are surprisingly reluctant to admit they want it to stop.
