Palm Springs (2020)
Movie
Released
A wedding provides the setting; a time loop supplies the rude interruption. Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti make a combative, funny partnership because being stuck together exposes evasions that an ordinary meet-cute could let slide. The puzzle gives a science-fiction viewer something to chew on, while the relationship asks whether sharing boredom is enough without trust or effort. Expect sex, swearing and some gleefully violent detours.
